I feel quite honored to be asked to write a few words for our Souvenir Journal.

Being a relatively new member, compared to most of you, whatever I may say about our Free Loan Fund you undoubtedly already know. However, I wish to direct this message to those members who are unaware of its purpose.

The Wisoko-Litowsker B. U. V. established the Free Loan Fund to help those members who are in immediate need of cash. Weare not a bank or loan office where we can hand out large sums of money, but we can be called upon to help ease those small nuisance bills. As Chairman of the Free Loan Fund, I speak not only for myself, but for Secretary Sam Waisblatt and Treasurer Ben Flanzenbaum, when I say we are proud to help and serve those members in need.

We, the Officers of the Free Loan Fund, send greetings and best wishes to all our members, their families and friends on this happy occasion and to our President and Sister Hyman and Sarah Gevirtz who at this time are celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary. We hope to be able to help celebrate their 75th Anniversary in good health.
